It finds job listings, scores them against the profile you give it, looks for a real email address for a person at that employer, and writes a short letter. Depending on your setting it either hands you the letter to send yourself, or sends it from the mailbox you connected.

It applies for jobs. It does not get you one. Nobody can promise that, and a service that implied otherwise would be lying to you.

These are commitments, not aspirations, and each is enforced in code:

Guess an email address. If no real address can be found, no letter is sent. There is no fallback to firstname.lastname@company.com.

Claim a qualification you do not hold. Letters are written from what your CV and answers say.

Write to the same employer twice. One employer, one letter, ever.

Name your current employer to anybody.

Write to anyone on your block list, including anyone who asks you to stop.

You need to be 16 or over and have the right to work where you are applying.

What you upload has to be true. The letters are written from your CV and your answers, and they go out with your name on them. If your CV claims a ticket you do not hold, this will repeat that claim to an employer, and that is on you.

Upload only your own CV and your own details.

Read your drafts. Letters are written by a language model. It is good and it is not perfect. On the by-hand setting you see every letter before it goes. If you switch automatic sending on, you are choosing to let them go without reading them first, and there is a holding window before each one leaves precisely so you can change your mind.

Do not use this to send anything abusive, misleading, or to anyone who has asked you to stop.

There is a daily ceiling on how many letters go out, and a holding window before each one leaves.

Letters send from your mailbox, as you. Your mail provider's own rules apply to that, and a personal address sending a large volume of cold email can be rate-limited or suspended by them. The recommended daily number is set low for that reason. You can raise it; the warning beside the control says what it risks.

Or from an address we issue you, if you would rather keep your own out of it. Then no password of yours is held, and your own address cannot be damaged by anything this does. Two things to know: replies still reach you, because your real address is on Reply-To; and everyone using an issued address draws on one daily allowance, so on a busy day some of your letters wait until tomorrow.

If your mail provider rejects the password, automatic sending switches off rather than retrying, because repeatedly failing to authenticate is how an account gets locked.

Withdraw it whenever you like, from your account page. Disconnecting the mailbox deletes the stored credential.

£9 a month, taken by Stripe. Access starts when Stripe confirms the payment.

Cancel any time, from your account page. Cancelling stops the next charge and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. There is no notice period and nothing to phone anybody about.

If a payment fails, access pauses until it succeeds.

Your legal cancellation right. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you normally have 14 days to cancel a service bought online and get your money back. Because the service starts immediately, that right can be reduced once you have started using it — but as a matter of practice, if you are inside 14 days and it has not done what you hoped, ask and you will be refunded. Statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by anything on this page.

The job listings come from Adzuna and Reed, and the letters are written with Google's Gemini. If one of those changes its terms, its prices or its availability, parts of this may change or stop. You will be told, and you can cancel.

Email delivery is not guaranteed by anybody. A letter can be sent correctly and still land in a spam folder.

The service is provided as it is. It is not legal advice, careers advice, or a guarantee of any outcome.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Beyond that, liability is limited to the amount you have paid in the twelve months before the claim.

You can delete your account at any time from your account page, and everything held about you goes with it. See Privacy for exactly what that covers.

Access here may be ended if the service is used to send abusive or knowingly false letters, or to write to people who have asked to be left alone. In that case any unused part of a payment is refunded.

If these terms change in substance you will be told by email before it takes effect, and the date at the top will change. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance; if you would rather not, cancel.

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you keep the right to bring a claim in your own local courts.
